RIM is finally shipping a BlackBerry WiFi device, the 7270.
The 7270 does not have a conventional mobile telephone like most BlackBerries, but instead supports
VoIP calls.
The 7270 supports WiFi standard 802.11b.
This BlackBerry WiFi device is designed for campus and enterprise customers.
The BlackBerry WiFi device supports the following data security protocols:
