Cisco Air AP1220B

I have heard that it is possible to upgrade my Cisco Air AP1220B from VxWorks to Cisco IOS.

Is that true, and if so how can I do it?

It is definitely true.

The tool you need to do this is the Cisco Aironet Conversion Tool for Cisco IOS Software.

This upgrade can be done to the AP350, AP1200, and AP1220.

The full instructions for where to get the tool and how to use it are documented in Cisco Aironet Conversion Tool for Cisco IOS Software, 2.1 Administrator Guide for Windows.
