Rep Power: 3 | How to get around WebSense My school (like every other one) uses Websense and I own a gaming site and I used to be able to check on it at school, but it got blacklisted. I don't know how to connect through 2 proxies because the school computer network relies on a proxy to connect to the internet. I know that it's against the Net rules or whatever but since I'm actually doing something serious they probably wouldn't think it's a big deal and I probably won't get caught anyway. |

Rep Power: 3 | I helped one of my friends do this. Use a proxy site to surf, also, Websense is a program that gets smarter so you can sometimes go to 'bad' sites that other people haven't gone to yet, but then it adds them to a block list. Hope this helps.

Rep Power: 6 | That usually means that WebSense is blocking all of the proxies that you have tried.
WebSense is very good at keeping its web proxy list updated.
What I recommend is that you setup your own web proxy at home -- AND DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT.
If you don't tell anyone about it, WebSense is not likely to discover and block it. |

Rep Power: 0 | I found a proxy that has been working pretty well at my school, and it might work at your school. For some reason now though, it isn't coming up when I type in the address. So, if anyone knows any alternate addresses, please let me know. Thanks.
Oh, here's the addy for the proxy: https://www.kproxy.com

A few minutes ago, I put a web proxy up at Suicide Hotline. It will work until I move it to a new domain or until it's banned by WebSense/Smartfilter/etc... |

Rep Power: 6 | The key is to setup your own proxy and not tell anyone about it.
Then the WebSense guys will never find your proxy and block it. |

Rep Power: 6 | Yes, that anonymous web proxy does support JavaScript.
I'll probably take it down if your school has blocked it. |
