Implementation of SIP Subscriber & Notify methods

Hello to all,
I want to know how to implement SIP subscribe& notify methods. Can anyone please send some informations regarding the implementation? Thanks in advance.

The definitely resource on how to implement the SIP SUBSCRIBE and NOTIFY methods is RFC 3265: Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) - Specific Event Notification.

But they we quickly move on into the implementation environment. What development environment at you working in? What hardware? What software?

Thanks for your reply. I am using Windows XP, and C language. Regarding hardware, it is Intel pentium 4.

Are you looking at existing implementations for reference?

I am thinking of oSIP, and eXosip.

Yes, I am looking for existing one for reference and I want to modify the SIP subscribe/Notify & Publish messages for my application purpose.
