VoIP

I have CISCO IP PHONES series 7912 working on G729 protocol and CISCO ATA 186 working on G723 protocol. And I have the COMMUNICATION LINE of 64 KBPS.

When I call from IP PHONE to IP PHONE the communication is very good.
And when I call from ATA PHONE to ATA PHONE the communication is also very good.

But when I try to call from IP PHONE to ATA or VICEVERSA there is lot of disturbance. I can't hear any voice and not even the other party.

PLZ HELP ME AS SOON AS PLZ.

The Cisco ATA 186's support G729.

I would switch the ATA's to G729.

In the Cisco ATA 186 configuration, switch your RxCodec, TxCodec, and LBRCodec to "3" and then try a call between the two models of phone.

If there is some reason that you cannot use G729 on your ATA 186's, you could configure the 7912's to use G723, but voice quality would not be as good.
