| Time-Warner Digital Phone service As briefly as possible: I've always had two Verizon lines in my apartment. Last year I decided to switch to Time-Warner digital service - $39.95/mo., unlimited local and long distance. So the guy came in and did the install. Only then did I find out that (a) Time-Warner can only install one line per apartment and (b) their service doesn't support fax lines.
I had both Verizon and T-W guys in and out of the house for a week. No one could understand what anyone else had done. So I kept both. One T-W line and one Verizon line. Two bills. I still save money. But the wiring is a mess. And I'm going to have the place painted, and want to clean the wiring up first.
As it stands now, I have two, I guess, Network Interfaces? Panels about 4"x6", with a wire going in and coming out the other side, and a jack in the middle. One must go to each service. Is there a neat, correct way to connect both of these to my phone? It's a little more complicated than that, because I've also got T-W cable (RoadRunner), but I think that I can deal with that.
Any help out there, please????? |
