DVB - RCS nera satlink 1910 satellite modem :(

I am using a DVB - RCS nera satlink 1910 satellite modem.

The problem i've been facing since the first installation is that sometimes i lost connection for no reasons. So that i have to restart this hardware to get the connection running again. FYI ... it even happens when there is only one computer connected to the server, Sunny or rainy day. It just pops up .

In it can happen 10 - 20 times a day (sometimes it restarts automatically ... i think there's a ghost in it )

Then we get a new DVB - RCS nera satlink 1910 satellite modem, repointing the satellite dish and LNB, change the server, and the whole 9 yards. STILL NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

The problem decreased from 10 - 20 times a day to 5 - 10 times a day.

Can somebody help me with this problem . It's a big pain in the neck for me. I don't even know what to do ... except restart the hardware and losing more and more customers.

Thanks

You have done a good deal of troubleshooting already.

If the problem isn't:

1. Rainfade
2. Improper dish pointing
3. A defective satellite modem

Then you have to move on to:

1. The signal is too weak in your area -- try a larger reflector (this is more common the further from the equator you get)
2. Your satellite provider is misconfiguring or mismanaging your link

Ask your satellite provider these questions:

1. What is the acceptable range of signal power I should be receiving?
2. What signal power am I receiving?
3. How can I monitor this myself?
