Free to Air Satellite Receiver

8) I am just discovering this site and I am very happy to hocked up. I live in Nigeria West Africa.

My question is: how can someone configure satellite tv station in to a free to air reciever.

I just bought a strong 586t receiver and in the manual there is nothing to tell you how to set the frequency, db, transpodant etc.

I will be very happy if you can be of help to configure my new receiver all other things were fixed and working.

I had never heard of the Strong receiver, so I went to look at their web site to see if I could help you.

I was amazed at how horrible their web site is. The FAQ is broken. The PDF's for product documentation are broken. There are no e-mail addresses to contact the company for product support. Even the Return page seems to be broken.

If it were me, I would return that receiver as quickly as possible and purchase one from a more reliable manufacturer.

:? thanks for your quick responce.you see this is one of problems we have in developing world .everybody is just bringing lest standard items into the country.these are other brand readily available in the country:supernet,supermax.or can you suggest any one for me that i can easily programm by directing me to their site to download how to programm tv channel on them. thanks waiting for your quick response/
