IQ symbols

Does any one know why we sometimes have to De-rotate IQ symbols as the come into the receiver?

Because someone else rotated them?

Rotation is utilized because it helps reduce the effects of errors during transmission.

If the symbols are rotated before transmission, they must be derotated before they can be used.
