Pointing loss
Dear all,
What is pointing loss?
Does it have anything to do with azimuth angle or only elevation angle?
Thank you

I have always heard (and used) the term
pointing loss
to refer to loss from being off the mark either on azimuth or elevation.

So, in link budget analysis.
Do i have to consider each of them separately or both of them simultaneously?

Pointing errors are not normally included in link budget calculations -- because they are preventable and correctable errors. They are an implementation error, not a design issue.
Have you tried the
Satellite Link Budget Calculator
?
