Satellite TV Versus Cable TV

I prefer Cable after having it for a while.
Before we moved, we lived in an area where there was no Cable and had Satellite for years. Over that time period, it seemed there were constantly issues effecting our service.

Satellite proved to be quite pricey, although there may have been more channels, there were many we never watched.

I'm enjoying the cable internet as well as the cable with on demand programming, and paying quite a bit less here.

I have comcast cable TV and I love it! I have a DVR so I can pause and stuff and I also get HD channels. I used to have sattelite and it is a pain, it gets messed up in bad weather and there is more lag time.

We have Comcast cable Internet -- and satellite television.

My wife enjoys the larger channel selection and is willing to pay the higher fees.

I don't watch TV, so it all seems crazy to me. Both cable television and satellite television are expensive.

I'm happy with Cable. Satellite is too expensive, and I'm always on the Internet anyway. I'm the type of person that does not need to be able to rewind TV shows and all of that fancy stuff.

Satellite versus cable

I used to have Satellite, but switched to cable when I got my cable Internet connection to simply combine both on one bill.

As far as the comparison goes, I would much prefer satellite TV, but cable Internet. At least, our cable company provides cable that is not quite as clear as satellite, and it takes longer for the channels to switch; things like that. Maybe it's just our company.
