CPU Fan

I want to replace my CPU fan. I've been using my computer lately, and sometimes in the past I've help my computer to feel how hot it is. Lately, it's been feeling unusually hotter, so I think it has something to with the fan. Do you think I should get a new fan, or should I just not use my computer for awhile?

I would recommed that you were to get a new fan. I think that is the only thing that you would be able to do to fix the problem. I mean, if youa re going to just wait for your computer to cool down, that is a waste of time.

Does it make any weird noises?? Mine made this noise that came and went before I found out the fan was going out. I took it apart and was told the bearings were starting to seize up!

I definately would have this checked! If the chip/board gets too hot you're hosed!

I might as well get it replaced. I'm not hearing any weird noises but I'm not going to wait until I do. It can't hurt to have it replaced, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
