DVD burner

I'm looking into purchasing a DVD burner. Does anyone know of where I can get one for cheap? It'll need to comply with winXP. Thank you.

You could also look on eBay. They have a wide variety of DVD burners that are new. They will usually list the specs, so you'll know if it's compatible or not. They also have "buy it now" products.

Make sure you remember that generally you get what you pay for. Unless you have heard good reviews about a product, I wouldn't buy it even if it's cheap.

NEC DVD writers are pretty good. If you can spend a bit more you can look at Plextor maybe.

Or on the cheaper side you have BenQ. I had seen some good offers at NewEgg. Check them out.
