External DVD drive

I'm looking for an external DVD writing drive.

Can anyone recommend a good one for a Dell computer with XP on it?

We only use LG for optical drives, since they've proven to be the best that we've used - never had a single one returned to us!

You can get an external drive, or an internal drive and an external box (which you install the drive into), which will work out cheaper.

If you need an external drive I suggest Lite On, best drive brand by far.
Bundled with good software too.

I like LiteOn too. Very high quality drives, I have also had good experiences with Asus and Pioneer drives.

In fact, these things are so common and simple now that any known brand will provide a good quality drive for you.
