Favorite motherboard maker?

I have been building my own PCs for quite some time now, and I was wondering, what motherboard manufacturers are good and what kind is in your system. I have bought a number of ABIT motherboards and have been quite successful with them. I was wondering what people think of the other ones.

Gigabyte. Nothing beats Gigabyte for motherboards. We use several different models, but have had the best success with the 661FX series for P4 CPU's and K8VM-800M for AMD CPU's. We've tried several other brands, and Gigabyte have proven the most reliable, stable, and they work with almost every piece of hardware we've tested it with - these boards are built like trucks! As far as I can recall, we haven't had a single one returned to us for repair.

Abit and Asus motherboards have been pretty well for me. Right now, though, I'm using a generic microATX board that is supplied by Shuttle.

I have had 2 Asus motherboards. I dont know if it was just chance, but both died within a few months of purchasing them and had to be returned. I guess its all about personal prefrence though.

I am a Gigabyte fan. I have 2 computers built with Gigabye boards, and I have another one with an older model Asus motherboard.
Gigabyte boards come with a heap of extra's and the features are second to none.

I have had excellent experience with ABIT in the past.

Right now, I have a very nice Soyo motherboard.

I was about to say ABIT
They are coming out with some good motherboards; a lot of gamers rank them very highly.

Has anyone tried MSI motherboards?

ABit is my current favorite. I have used several ASUS in the past and was never entirely happy.

I have used MIS and I would not recommend them.

For my next system I will probably look at ABit first and if I don't find a perfect match will look at gigabyte.

What was wrong with MSI?
They get some good reviews, I just have no tried them yet. I thought they would be as good as the others?
