Ideal PSU to Power Modern Video Cards

Hello,
I haven't really been in the computer building business since a couple of years ago. In those days, 350W was fine to power most computers. What about now? The modern video cards seem to require more juice. Exactly how much more juice is recommended?

Since they are so cheap, 450W should be what you look at as a minimum.
350W is ok for small computers, but you are right, modern components require more power.

There is nothing worse than having a PSU die on you due to it not having enough power.
