| This way to surf the internet isn't so prevalent now as it used to be. I forget which company offered it, but it was called web-tv, which was basically a box that you can hook up to your television to, in effect, make your tv your monitor. Bundled with a wireless keyboard, you just plugged your telephone line into it and connected to the internet via that box, instead of using a standard computer. I'm almost positive it was MSN. You can get TV on your computer by using a VIVO enabled Nvidia card (video in/video out). |
