Labtec keyboard problem

Hello, all,
I have wireless keyboard + mouse from Labtec: Labtec "Power Wireless Desktop Plus" (http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/gear...,contentid=707). I am satisfied how it works in general (when it works, that is most of the time ). The keyboard have nice soft keys and is very comfortable to work with. But I have the following problem: When batteries go low, I recharge them and put them back - the keyboard won't work. I have found workaround for this problem: I have to disconnect the receiver from the power and from the PC (i.e. full reset of the circuit). Then I connect all the hardware again, pair the keyboard with the receiver, and everything goes fine after that. I'm curious why ? Is there anyone with same or similar problem ? Any other solutions ?

Cheers

Just pairing them again doesn't work?

That sounds like a design issue; I would complain to LabTec.

Or, I would upgrade to Logitech.

Yes, just pairing them again doesn't work  I have e-mailed Labtec with this issue and waiting them to reply. But any other opinions are welcome.
Otherwise, switching to Logitech is very good idea But what to do with this keyboard - moreover that it is a gift and it is not so easy to throw it :?

Tell the giver that it broke. 8)

Me, I poured water all over my wireless keyboard a few days ago. Usually, they dry out fine. Not this time.
