LaCie HDD

These are great HDDs. Seriously, I wouldn't change my mind on the brand. I don't have one myself at this moment, but my friends have them. They are nearly unbreakable, my friends dropped them on the ground for me from about 3 feet high. There were no scratches, or slow downs in the data transfer.

Are they predominantly a exterior hard drives??? If so, why would someone want that type vs. an interior one?? I don't know... I'm asking!

They are more predominantly external hard drives.

The reason that people would want one of these is because of on the go work. Like me, I do graphical work, so if I can't send a bunch of files through email (I do large work, so files are sometimes over 10MB a piece) I will store them on a hard drive such as this, and then take them to a printer or such.

That's good to know! I carry 'round a lil 128M Attache but I can see how one could want/need something larger!

Thanks for responding!

Yes, also, one more thing to state, if you would look at a magazine article with all of the pretty colors and what-not, that page alone is about 10-25MB. The reason it is so large is because of the resolution that the editor is using. I myself use around 300 pixles per square inch. They probably use upwards of 500.
