There are so many flavors if Intel CPU's out now, you could be forgiven for getting confused.
One thing they all have in common though is high performance and fantastic quality.

I was just reading about the Pentium 4 Processor Extreme Edition with HyperThreading, sounds awesome!

You're forum staff, you should know what it all means

Cache is the temp storage space, front side bus is how fast things are sent to memory, socket is the form factor of the chip and chipset is the chipsets on the motherboard that the CPU can be used on.

Thats a very simplistic explanation

Hyperthreading is Intels way of saying that the CPU works like 2 CPU's, so basically there are 2 "threads" - its very technical at its core, but just say it works twice as better as a normal CPU, but the effects still are not noticable at all to the human eye.
In fact, its mostly just marketing hype!

Clock speed is the Ghz speed of the CPU.
Socket is the shape of the CPU, ie how it fits on to the motherboard.

Forget Intel, AMD beats Intel in every single category according to CNET, even for multi-tasking and photo-editting. And forget hyper-threading, you already see Dual Core processors.

Intel is good for one thing, overheating.

Hey, isn't the newest processor comes with 65nm processor? I'm not really sure but I think it's called Pentium Extreme Edition 955. And I heard the clock speed is around 4.26GHz. Am I right?
