LCD Monitors

I think LCD Monitors, or Liquid Crystal Display, are the future! First, the graphics are a lot better on Liquid Crystal Display, and second, it doesn't hurt your eyes (at least that's what I've heard)! I think that's the best part, since I spend a lot of time on the computer and my vision has been decreasing, so I do actually need to get one. And the name is really cool, heh heh. They are expensive though, I hope the price goes down.

Edit: Whoops, wrong forum... heh heh... I'm sure someone can move this.

These are going to be the future, truly! I have had a LCD monitor since about when they came out. It was very expensive, but I just had to get it. It is still very clear, and worth every penny! I am never going to change my mind about a LCD monitor...

Me too! I bought mine (17" Envision) about 4 years ago and it still works great!

At work I'm stuck with a 13" round tube thang and it hurts! LOL :p

Yeah, I don't like CRT monitors at all. Due to a study, there was conclusive evidence that states that CRT monitors cause headaches and dizzyness. If you didn't know this, I would switch sometime soon. This is sometimes bad for your health.

I didn't know LCDs were out that long ago. I'm getting a new monitor! This one sucks, and after everything I've learned, I can't go on using this one. I'll just get a cheap one, yes, cheap one.

Yeah, I've had mine a while. Maybe it was three years. Either way, it rocks and anything else or smaller just won't do!

I have a 2 year old HP CRT monitor...It's starting to go however (flickering a little bit) so I'll probably buy myself a nice LCD display once this one breaks

Just waiting for the price to drop
