Old monitor doesn't show full screen

My brother got this old 17 inch monitor for free but it only displays about 9 inches of the image. There's no buttons to increase screen size! I don't think it's broken because the image is real clear. How can we fix this??????

Hey Slush,

What about drivers for this monitor? Did you download the driver for this monitor?

Hey Slush,

Yes......make sure you have the proper "drivers" installed. Also, you may want to check your video-card too. I had a problem (ask Lyte) a few weeks ago. I had to "scanreg /restore" my system. I couldn't see anything only in 16 colors. Then I was advised to find the wbe-site for my video-card. D/L the drivers.......all set !!!
