Video overclocking

Most modern video cards support overclocking (changing core and memory frequency) by drivers or special software even without rebooting the system. What's in your mind, how could that be done?

Yes this has been done for years, alot of people overclock
Im not sure what you're asking, how do you overclock or if it effects the card in any way?
