Question browser problem while using ftp

hai....actually while accessing ftp server via "INTERNET EXPLORER" it's easy one.but i can't use "FIREFOX" and "OPERA" for accessing ftp ......because we can't access the files as easy as like "INTERNET EXPLORER"..
while accessing via "OPERA" and "FIREFOX"....
I can't copy or paste any files or directory. because all files are looking like a hyperlink..... do i have to change any settings for it......what can i do for that.....thanks in advanz.............

I'm not sure that I understand what you are saying.

Can you post a screenshot from Internet Explorer and a screenshot from Firefox showing how IE is doing what you want and Firefox isn't?

Question browser problem while using ftp

hai... i have send the three screenshots of "INTERNET EXPLORER" and "OPERA" and "NETSCAPE" ....actually my problem is,

while using IE i can easily copy a file or directory from or to the ftp server just by clicking the right mouse button by copy or paste.........

but while using the other browsers i can't do like this .....because except IE the other browsers are showing the contents like a web page....so what is the solution for this......thanks in advanz......

I am not certain, but I think that this is a feature of the Internet Explorer integration with Microsoft Windows that you will not find in cross-platform browsers like Firefox or Opera.

vinguy51 , though I haven't downloaded your attached images, but I understand your problem.

1st of all , a separate ftp software like cuteftp/wsftp would solve your problem.

2ndly , if you are firm to your choice of ftp browsing through browser then , you can try FireFTP add-on/extension for Mozilla Firefox.

Let me know , whether it works or not !
