hai ....

I am having cisco 1924 switch .....after booting usually it has to ask whether to work with menu or to work with command line mode.....but in my switch just it is automatically going to the menu configuration.....it is not asking me the option.....what will be the problem..........thanks in advanz..............

Can you post your config file? (The output of the show conf command)

hai... my actual problem is that i can't enter in to the command mode....because it is directly moving to the menu mode..........so how can i find the conf file from the menu mode.....

Do you have a Standard image or an Enterprise image of IOS on that 1924?

The Command Line Interface (CLI) is only available on the Enterprise image of the Catalyst 1924.

It sounds like you have a Standard IOS image on that switch.

hai.....so in this situation without having COMMAND LINE option how can i know whether it is standard or enterprise ios......thanks in advanz......

It should tell you this when booting up. Look at the version string.
