ddr , ddr 2, ddr4 ram

whent out yesterday to buy a new mobo when i got there im told that ddr 2 ram is out and that my normal ddr ram wont fit so im gonna have to spend a **** load more on ram what a load of crap and then he tells me that ddr 4 is on its way:evil: i mean how much do these ****ing companies wanna make so what should i do wait for ddr 4 to come out and then get my new mobo or just go get ddr 2 its all just to confuzing and expensive with all these different types

Stick with DDR2.

DDR4 isn't really DDR4. What is being called DDR4 by some people is really GDDR4 (Graphics Double Data Rate). It's only for use on graphics cards.

DDR3 (Double Data Rate Three) is coming in late 2007 or early 2008, but that's just too far to wait.
