Suggestion - Marketing Strategies For Digg Like Sites With Social News

Find a top niche..whether general news or news on any specific topic

Then populate it with good stories from major newspaper sites,blog posts.

Then ask voluntarily bloggers to add your domains to footer of their posts so that the users would post.

Then Improve traffic/alexa rankings.

I'm just trying to figure out these social network thingies and feel like I have a lot still to learn! So... when you say "top niche" do you mean a topic that's hot right now?

I've noticed on Digg that people to post stuff that's not original. Meaning, the take content from somewhere else, post on it on their site and then Digg it. My question is... how do they get it on Digg first?! Every time I think I found something interesting, someone already has it on Digg! Even when it's only a hour or two old! How do they know?!

Ni i mean to choose your site belong to or get news submitted to a related niche....say Digg.com which generally consists of news from US

Indianpad.com consists of mainly links to indian stuffs

That's cool! PC101 has a presences on Digg but we don't populate it as much as well should.
