Dell Inspiron 530

Dell Inspiron 530

Dell has just come out with their first desktops to carry the Inspiron name. Among these great looking desktops is their Inspiron 530. This desktop is certainly one that performs superiorly when it comes to productivity and graphics. And on the outside, this desktop is just as wonderful, as it has two sleek and attractive cases. All of this, plus a very affordable price makes this Inspiron from Dell a great mainstream choice for consumers who are looking for a quality performing desktop which fits within their budget.

At a quick glance, there are some pros and a few cons of the Inspiron 530 that you might want to look over. First off are the prominent pros, which include the strong dual core processor, a strong performance in many levels, a good working dedicated 3D graphics card, and a 19-inch monitor and speakers. However along with these pros are a few cons that you might want to check up on. The Inspiron 530 has FireWire ports that aren’t standard and it also requires certain tools for upgrades. There may be a few cons, but the pros can absolutely make up for all of this.

When looking at performance, the Dell Inspiron 530 can without a doubt deliver. Nevertheless you might have to customize your Inspiron 530 to optimize your desktop to your preference. For example in the option of processors, you can choose to get the low-end Celeron if that’s what fits your budget. However if you truly want the best performance you can go with the dual-core Core 2 Duo processors and your Inspiron 530 will not let you down. There are even AMD-based models of the Inspiron 530. Likewise you can choose to get the low-end Sempron or the dual-core Athlon 64 X2 processor, it all depends on what you think fits your standard and budget.

You will also have to tweak and customize your Inspiron 530 when seeking for the best memory. It offers memory from a mere 512MB to an outstanding 4GB. Although the standard is 1GB, the most often chosen is 2GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 memory. This is just enough to get your Windows Vista operating system to easily run smoothly.

When it comes to aesthetics and looks, the Inspiron 530 has got it down. It features a simple yet attractive silver-and-white color scheme, which is similar to the scheme found on the late-model Dell Dimensions. This also features drive-bay covers, which make the desktop look more unified.

Aforementioned, along with this desktop, Dell even offers a 19” widescreen monitor. This monitor may not be the best in town, but it surely does deliver. It gives you sharp text and detailed color quality when it comes to still images and moving images as well. You can even upgrade this to make it decent enough for gaming.

Overall the Dell Inspiron 530 value desktop which is a great offering. Although you will have to customize it a bit to fit your needs, this desktop, along with its 19” monitor, is a great choice for the mainstream consumer.
