The eMachines T5246 is a desktop PC which comes at a very inexpensive price. For all you bargain-hunters out there, this could be the one! The eMachines T5246 sells at a mere $429, which is under the $500 mark! However with this system you won’t be able to mix and match the components that you want before you buy it. This retail system is prebuilt and there is only one configuration that it’s available in. You can’t go wrong with this desktop if what you are looking for is a well working desktop for an incredibly great price.
At a swift glance, there are a few pros and cons of the eMachines T5246 that you probably want to check up on. First to mention are the pros of this desktop. One pro is that it has full-fledged Windows Vista, all for a small price to pay, really. Aside from this benefit of being exceptionally inexpensive, the eMachines T5246 has a considerably large hard drive. You can certainly do a lot with 400GB. In fact, this desktop possesses the largest hard drive in its price category. However unfortunately, nothing is genuinely perfect. The eMachines T5246 does have a few cons that even out its advantage of having a great price. This desktop has weak integrated graphics, along with that, the LCD which is included with it only packs in a 17 inch display. Also, there are a few systems which actually have faster CPUs that cost less.

It isn’t very glamorous, and it doesn’t include a front panel either, which would’ve covered your external drives and connectivity ports. Another thing is that it doesn’t have FireWire ports. However this system does pack in parallel and serial connections which can be used for attaching older peripherals. Along with all of this, the T5246 conveniently offers you a few expansion options inside that tidy interior. It has an external 5.25-inch, an internal 3.5-inch bay, and three card slots.
The eMachines T5246 may not have optimum performance in graphics, and it might not come with a large enough LCD display to satisfy you. However at its very inexpensive price, its adequate speed for everyday use, and its large 400GB hard drive, the eMachines T5246 could very well be worth your dough. After all, you could always spend some extra money to get a larger screen and buy a 3D graphics card to go with it.
