So, I sold my 35mm camera and then I sold this ol' bulky digital camera and then I realized there wasn't a camera in the house! So, I put in my request with Santa and got this neat lil digital camera by Sony called the "Cybershot S700 7.2MP"
It's a neat lil camera with not a lot of bells 'n' whistles but definitely enough to get you through a birthday part, or a wedding, or a Christmas morning!
There's not a lot of memory space on the camera itself but I got the memory stick too...
which gives you up one 1GB of space and that's plenty for me!
I found the camera was a lil finicky when it came to shooting in low light. You have to play with the adjustments to find which setting will get you the best results. I think this is both a function of my being new to the camera but the camera also being less forgiving of the amature photographer. I'm remembering the fact that with my 35mm Canon Rebel, I could NOT take a bad photo! With the Sony Cybershot ... you do have to yield to it's limitations.
Having said all that, it's still a really nice camera! It got better than average stars on Amazon, Best Buy and a few other sites. Below are some of the more technical aspects regarding the Cybershot.
Feel free to post your own reviews on whatever tech you have lying about the house!
