couldn't access bios
Hi,
to every one as I was new to this site. Last week i purchased a new desktop with intel chip, gigabyte mother board GA-945 GM S2 Core duo processor. My problem is i am not getting control over bios though the bios screen is displayed.(the cursor down arrow and up arrow are not moving) . Can any one guide me to get the control over bios.

It sounds like your keyboard is not being recognized.

I had this happen once with a USB wireless keyboard. The BIOS would only recognize a conventional non-USB keyboard until I configured USB support in the BIOS. If I had not had an old keyboard laying around, I would have been in deep trouble.

Or, you have the keyboard plugged into the mouse port. ops:
