Entering Asus BIOS Configuration

My friend has an Athlon CPU on an Asus motherboard. The system is working fine, however that I am not able to configure the BIOS. I am not able to get the BIOS setup menu. Any idea how to rectify that?

To enter Asus BIOS setup, just press the <DELETE> key during the Power On Self Test (POST).

I know some computers require you to press a different key, like F2 or something

I know that DEL gives the BIOS screen.

I get the BIOS Screen but I can not get all the expected options. There is only an empty blue screen.

I don't know how stupid this problem is. It's tough to work as I have to press F1 every time I start the computer.
