So, has anyone taken the plunge and downloaded Vista Beta? I wish I had kept my old computer so I could have loaded it there. I'm just a little too chicken to load it on my primary! LOL

i am using vista ... doesnt work all that smooth though i have 1 gb memeory and graphic card Nvidia6200 , and a AMD 64bit 3000+ , cant work on application that suck lot of memory .. like Maya and stuff .anyway i think the final one will work much smoother.
I put it on a test computer but don't use it. I just wanted to check out the new looks of it and make sure my software runs fine on it.

If you want to try it but dont want to screw up your PC, download Virtual PC from microsoft (it's free) and run it from in there, nil chance of screwing anything up this way
did they? My mic still doesn't work on it, haven't tried it with my new sound card yet.
All ran perfect although I didn't spend a whole lot of time testing.

I;m afraid even to try installing it. I don't think my laptop is up to the task and so far I am pleased with XP. Don't think I'll test the new version too soon

I was thinking of installing a BETA version of a spare system but didn't have the guts.
How is the features on it in other words the improvements from XP. Is the calculator, paint, image view, etc different and have you tried out the movie maker in Vista? :
