Vista - Anyone have it yet?

We've got a site license at Work and have downloaded the final release of Vista and Office 2007. I have to say, I'm impressed with them both. Vista does have some annoying things that needs to be turned off such as User Account Control. The so called "3D" environment is nothing impressive. In fact, I don't even think it is true 3D.

Our IT department got a copy and seemed really impressed with it. Something about a picture in picture screen (???) made them smile and one was impressed with the graphics. Other than that, I've not tried Vista myself.

Well yes, I did get Vista. I downloaded the public beta and I used it my main computer, which has more ram. I did also install it to my laptop, but unfortunately my laptop can't carry the massive memory, what vista needs. My laptop, which had 512 ram, it became very slow and I couldn't use any programs with it. Anyway, I don't see any rational use for vista, I don't need it and XP works fine with me. I will still be waiting for the final release. I also uninstalled my vista OS from my main computer.

I have read reviews about Vista and I think I will keep WIndows XP x64 in my computer.
Vista needs lot of ram memory to run fast.
Computer needs a really good processor to run vista OS as fast as Windows XP.

Vista could look better but I think I will wait.
