Post Vista - Is Vista Really Worth Buying?

For all you Vista Users/Buyers was it worth it, i use it sometimes but i don't really like it i prefer good old XP, or Just Ubuntu .

Operating Systems Should be Free , if they are going to be as sucky as this.

I regret buying Vista , and i would rather pay for a MAC, !

Do you think the same?

Just because of some factors you can't say that it is worthless.I am using vista past 6 months and I always prefer to use windows vista over the windows XP

You must get used to the operating system to understand the new operating system.....but everyone has it's own opinion so do I

Hence I respect your opinion

I'm looking forward to getting Vista! I'm waiting till I go on vacation so I can sit quietly... and for however long it takes... to partition my drive and get a clean install of it.

From everything I've read, it's not everyone's cup of tea but it does have some benefits over XP.

Yes Vista is definitely worth purchasing although XP should be sufficient for your needs. Windows Vista does require a good pc but on a good note it's interface is easy to get used too. It has some new features and runs well. All in all, I would buy Windows Vista, you won't be disappointed.

Well according to me XP is just enough for now unless u want better graphics, animations and memory hogger OS.

I have been using vista and the 2 things i like in it is:
1. Internet connectivity problems solution and network detection
2. Volume control for various applications
