Compaq v4000

Can anyone who owns the Compaq v4000 comment on it and say what parts of the new review he/she agrees or disagrees with? Thanks!

I would suggest staying away from Compaq. Even if it is now HP, the quality is really bad. Check out Dell for desktops and Toshiba for laptops. Good luck!

Agree with you on the server side of things, HP do make excellet servers, however we've also had some good results with the HP notebooks as well. The cheaper end Compaq branded notebooks have proven less reliable however the NX range of business HP notebooks have been very reliable since we started selling then a few months ago.

What is wrong with their laptops?
I would have thought they are similar to Dell and Asus etc laptops?
