JUmper settings

As you all are knowing there are many jumper settings in motherboard please share your knowladge about the same here.

Jumpers are a thing of the past, newer boards do not use jumpers anymore.

new boards still use jumpers, but not for the same thing as in the past. in the past they have been used to set clock speeds, and mutiplyers on processors and such, not its more or less for clearing the CMOS.

Jumpers setting is for many reasons, it also for setting up casing lights and unable and disable speaker, it also for processor to give same level of current to processor which it want. jumper setting is very important, if somebody newbie will try to check it, it will not very harmful, maybe processor will not work forever :p

it will very well may harm the processor. but they do not control case lights.
