Overclocking a little bit tooo far :P

Well, I make all my computers. I had to overclock since the one I was using at home was only 200MHZ (cheap motherboard) so I overclocked to what it could take (I know your laughing at 200MHZ ) But so it went up to 250MHZ. It ran fine for a few days then started to make noize. The noize (sorry my spelling is horrible, im american ) was because of overheating. Now it was a AMD CPU, but 1 prob was my side fan turned off. So my system fan was trying to cool this monster machine!

So finaly in conclusion it burns up and I had to get a new motherboard (2000MHZ, i learned my leson ) and dual cpu Pentuim d. Quite fast. It was worth the money. I recomend Pd to anyone !

Smooth! I wanted to push an old DOS but the BIOS messed up in it.

overclock

my current overclock is from a 2000Mhz, to 2270 Mhz. and thats not really pushing it that hard. by best overclock. i took a 1.2Ghz. to 2Ghz.

its all about the cooling, not just the processor, but also the motherboard chipset
