Touchscreen Monitor
I was just interested if anyone here had a touch screen monitor. I've always wanted one, mainly because they look cool but always thought they were very expensive for what they are. So anyone that has one, what do you think.

My dad has one from CTX. It's cool but you still need a mouse and keyboard so the monitor is not close. You have reach for it. What's the point?!

I don't think that touch screen computers will really ever have much use in the home. They are good in certain situations though. For example in the UK they are used to complete your driving theory test, where you select your options buy pressing the screen.

I agree. They have a natural advantage in the work place... but at home.... I just don't see it. UNLESS, you're one of those who has 10 pieces of entertainment ware that needs controlling. Ohh... someday.... *dreaming* :p
