Problem - 12 PCs shutdown in 30s why?

A cybercafe, 12 pcs running in a network.
My friend try to installed a illegal copy of Windows in one computer.
He had to validate OS and tried to validate using a little crack software.

Now in any time all 12 computer has a problem: a little message appear in any monent: your computer will shutdown in 30s

I thought was a kind of virus but looking round google found that this problem happen if you try to crack windows.

ok I decided to format computer and problem was solved but 9 hours after OS installation, the same message appear in all 12 computers:
your computer will shutdown in 30s.

What is happening?
what can I do?

this not happening because of illegal copy
this happening because of some viruses, you should update it.

I'm not good at setting up/running networks. I wish I was! So, I'm at a loss on this one! It could be because it's not a legal copy.

Looking in other forums and trying to search the answer I have to say:
Some people had the same problem, after try to crack Windows.
Now: if the computer which was cracked is off or not conected to internet problem is resolved but need this computer working.

In sumary could be:
or a virus : Lsse.exe ( little windows said: a problem with...)
Or the way how windows reject the crack.

anyway, I need a solution

The computer with the cracked Windows software, is that the only one with Windows on it?

I'm wondering if you did pick up some kind of malware when you got that copy of Windows. When I Google Lsse.exe nothing comes up, that's not a good sign.

an Update:
OS installed was:
WIndows XP Home edition OEM
Was installed using a legal CD
key of CD was lost so my friend put a key donwloaded from ares.
online registration not was available
my friend download a crack for WIndows XP home
Crack never worked.
As soon as he cracked the software, appeared a little windows in a network:
12 computers are in this network:
message: your pc will shutdown in 60s

I formated this computer and reinstalled OS witha legal CD and with a Legal key.

But message still appearing.

What can I do to resolve this problem?

If you're reformating the HD and then reinstalling clean, legitmate software... and you're still having a problem... then you have me perplexed!

Is the software (OS) you're loading from an original Microsoft disk? Or is it from a copy? I'm just trying to figure out how you keep getting re-infected!

Or... is this somehow a hardware problem?

Or... could this be a BIOS issue?

Is this clean machine connected to the others when you reformat and reload? Could the other computer be re-infecting this clean one?

I'm puzzled!

Like I said:
My friend has an original OEM Windows XP Home edition CD but he lost the serial number key.

I formatted the HDD and reinstalled Windows using a legal OEM CD with a legal key number ( he gave me one of his OEM CDS month ago)

So all was perfect but after 8 hours the annoying little windows appear:
you have 60s before windows shutdown.
some lsse.exe problem.

Why this annoying little windows appear now. All 12 computers has installed legal windows xp home.

may be a virus?

It could be a virus. Use a couple different anti-virus software to see what they find. One may find it while the other may not. Run one, see what it says then run the other. You may want to uninstall the first before you run the second.

Let us know what you find out!!

Google MSBlaster or Sasser. That's what you have. And it's "C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe".

ouch, I just noticed this thread.
You need to repair all the PC's on the network.
First thing you will want to do is shut the network down, so all PC's are not connected to it or the net.
You will want to read these:
http://www.pchell.com/virus/sasser.shtml
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/sasser.mspx

Good luck, and have fun, 12 PC's at once is a job and half.

I would rather install Ubuntu on all the machines and have hassle free month.
But the only problem is that people need to learn to use Ubuntu.
