2006 has know been released, personally I don't think that there are enough additional features from the previous version, 2005, to warrant a new release. But I'm sure there will be another release called 2007 next year which will also lack in new features. Oh well that's life.

Personally I enjoy the incremental versions as they come out, such as 2006.1.18

I find if I download and install each new version as it becomes available, I am able to cope with most of the "undocumented features" I come across.

Of course, patches and fixes become more of an "immediate" necessity but the free upgrades have so far been worth the hassle.
