Vista - Add the IE Icon to your Windows Vista desktop

Yeah, a shortcut would seem quicker and easier but if you follow these directions you'll have the advantage of being able to right click on the icon and change up all the IE properties you want. You can't do that through a shortcut.

As always, before you mess with your registry, take a back up of it in case you make a boo boo!

hmm...quiet interesting trick!
I used this trick and did well on my vista operating system.But I just want to ask you further on this topic.
Can I use this trick for some other applications?If is it so how can I do it?
I am eager to know and waiting for your reply!

I don't see why not but that's the first one I figured out! I don't like to offer too many suggestions that involve changing the registry but ... I'll look into it!
