Change XP Desktop Icons to Smaller List View

Have you had the trouble of being unable to resize the icons on your XP desktop? Worry no more because this ability has been added into Windows Vista.

Now, there’s an easy way to change the desktop icons from normal mode to the smaller “list” mode by just double-clicking. The program called Deskview allows you to do this function.

All you need to do is to download and extract the zipfile, and then double-click on deskview.exe, and your icons will change like the image at right.

To return to default desktop setting, just double-click on the deskview.exe again.


Here's how it might look with Vista.
