Configuring WINS server on Windows 2000 Server

I have a problem while configuring WINS server on Windows 2000 Server.
all done well. I perform all the steps correctly, but at the end receive a message:

ERROR : network path not found.

Can any body help me in this regard?

Although this could point to a WINS configuration error, this is usually a Windows Firewall issue.

Test by disabling Windows firewall. If WINS starts working when you do that, then check your Windows firewall settings.

Are there other firewalls installed on or between your machines?

To verify your WINS settings, what does ipconfig /all tell you?
