Favicons are the lil' 16x16 pixel icons beside the url. The one for this site is blue(not sure the reasoning behind it but it looks cool, maybe a graph?). In order to make one you can open paint and make your own pixel by pixel if it is simple and then save it as an .ico(icon) file. You can also shrink images into 16x16 but it usually is too small and blurry to make a difference. You can check this site out if you want to make more. Favicon maker
Any image will make one. Sometimes simpler is better.
Will explain how to add it to your page on another day.

Yeah, I'm getting some hit and miss on the darn thing too!  Lemme see what I can find out. It appears to be coded correctly so it's a little confusing.

Rep Power: 3 | NP, I think you can make them 32x32 and the browser will shrink them if they are no larger than that but not 100% sure. Thanks.
