Rep Power: 3 | MS TV Microsoft is planning to enter into the television field, but they want to collaborate with another company and point to be noted there is no company that wants to collabarate with Microsoft. If any company does this, obviously they will lose their image compared to Microsoft's image and the credit will go to Microsoft only. |

Rep Power: 3 | Are they planning to launch a technical channel or just entertainment channels? You could have given a link which would have made some doubts clear. |

Rep Power: 3 | It would be nice to have Microsoft into the TV field. Hopefully they would host some shows on .NET training or some other training shows on SQL server and other stuff. That would boost many others to come up with some technical channels, of which we don't have many right now. |

Rep Power: 3 | Is this actually on cable TV or just on the Internet?
Sounds interesting, we could learn alot from MS.
I can't see why no one wants to work with them though. |

Rep Power: 3 | Most of us out there use Windows and still blame Microsoft. Come on guys, they give wonderful software out for us.
What if they copy from other technologies, their copied versions are a lot better than the originals!!
They deserve the credit, look at .NET 2.0 you'll know how much they have worked to give the best version of .NET so far.
Online TV does exists on msdn.com. It's called MSDN TV. You can view some techincal shows. I haven't tried them out. If anyone has tried MSDN TV, please post here. |

Rep Power: 3 | I think if you can do something better than other people, then bad luck for them really.
That is what MS do (most of the time), though Google is ahead of them in alot of respects now (search engines, toolbars etc) |

Rep Power: 3 | Thats very interesting of Microsoft.
They have the money, does anyone know what kind of shows are going to be on it? Is it going to be a major network like ABC, NBC or CBS? Or is it going to be a specialized channel?

Rep Power: 3 | Just another way that MicroSoft is trying to take over the world as we know it. who knows what spywares are in that contraption! They could be spying on what you watch on TV, what you view on the internet, or your life in general. A complete violation of privacy. |
