| Safe Boot BSOD I had a problem being able to enter safe boot on the XP installation of my SATA Raid drives. Trying to overcome this, I used the /Safe Boot option in msconfig, to see if it would work. This caused the system to BSOD right after the boot logo window and to reboot. Since I have been unable to fix this with the recovery console, I'm locked out from the system. I installed SuSe on an IDE drive, hoping that this would give me enough access to fix the problem, but for some reason it only sees the drives and partitions and not the files. It lists the partions as "data 1 thru 3). I think that if I could unset the /safe boot option in msconfig, I would be able to boot normally, but I can not do this from the f8 boot menu. Can anyone think of an alternative solution, other than reinstalling the OS? |
