[SOLVED] Probelm with my XP - Programs close once opened!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyoff you's could help me. Once I open some programs (mostly Games and Virus spyware scanners) they close straight away. Why is this ive done virus scans on my computer and says there isnt any currently on my PC. Could someone please help me.
