Vista is Finished!

Microsoft "completed" Vista on Wednesday.

Corporate customers will get access to Vista this month.

Mass-market consumers will have to wait until January -- right after all of the Christmas computers have been delivered.

Talking Vista Release date set... Will it really be that great?

Right now I have been using Vista RC1 and it has definitly impressed me. The Aero interface makes the user experience top notch. With everything from gadgets on the desktop to a built in search bar under the start button Windows Vista is by far raising the bar. I haven't been able to find any drivers for my Ati TV Tuner yet but I'm sure they will be released sometime before January 30th (the public release date). It also automatically installed my other Ati video card drivers and 90% of the ones I needed before I even finished installing the operating system. Even though Vista is being released after Christmas some computer vendors are selling a version of XP that can be upgraded to Vista at no cost to the customer. TigerDirect.com is a good example. Also, I don't know too much about Longhorn yet but definitly excited for it's release incase I can get my hands on it and see what it can do!
