Rep Power: 2  | Problem - Winamp - shoutcast problem
Hi, I have a problem with that software and I dont know is because my OS is damage or need to me repair, or if winamp has a bug.
I use winamp - shoutcast to streaming.
Well after 1 hours of use winamp, suddenly the software crash and need to be closed using control - alt - supra.
I think was only me but:
all my djs has simillar problems.
they use Windows XP sp2 and I use Windows XP x64
Also I tested yesterday ina windows 98 computer and same problem.
Now I have another computer a P4 computer which is 90% empty
its has: Windows XP sp2 , msn mesenger 7.5 and winamp - shoutcast
Well in that computer winamp works pretty fine.
So what can I do?

Rep Power: 6 | Does it crash regardless of user? Admin and non-admins?
EDIT: And does it happen in safemode too??

Rep Power: 2 | winamp crash happen with my computer. XP x64
with my djs computers round 6 computers: XP sp2
with a win 98 computer
and using my 90% empty pentium 4, winamp crash after 3 hours.

yes it crashes in safe mode aswell.
Im thinking about is a winamp software problem

Rep Power: 2 | At this time same winamp - shoutcast problem happened in more than 7 computers.
90% or winamp crashes happened when DJ change winamp recomeded mode to soundcard mode( this mode is needed when DJ want to talk)
I remeber 1 DJ, new pentium 4 3.0GHz computer
everytime he changed : winamp recomeded to soundcard option, well winamp crashed.
Because of that he is not a DJ any more

Rep Power: 6 | I wish I could be of more services but I've not worked with either of those pieces of software.  So...
Check out this link. This sounds like a similar problem.
Also, here's the Shoutcast forum of WinAmp.

Looks like this is a bigger problem than I thought
So problem wont be resolved at this time 
But someone know a tip regarding this problem?

Rep Power: 6 | Yeah, doesn't sound like you're the only one. They do mention a different product called "OddcastV3" Have you tried that software??
